A yellow spotted leopard stands atop a Big Sur, California hill and glares ferociously at Samantha who immediately senses the danger from the yard of her cabin in the valley below. The wild cat howls mournfully, and a chill runs through the center of her bones. Her telepathic, genetically-engineered black panther, Prince Phoenix, rushes to her side and aims his violet eyes at the threatening feline above. A rumbling growl emanates from his belly.

She strokes her cat’s neck. “What does it want?”

(It wants us to follow it.) The panther’s lips quiver, parting to show more of his deadly fangs.

Follow Samantha and Prince Phoenix and their expanded human and feline and canine family as they try to close down an illegal exotic big game hunting operation and are faced with danger not only from the evil hunters but also from the ferocious caged tigers, lions, leopards and jaguars who are desperate to escape. Sam tries to keep Samantha and his new dog, Twister, safe from the men with guns and from the wild cats with huge fangs, but they need help if they are to escape with their lives.

Sami’s newly adopted fluffy white cat, Snow Princess, and Carrie’s large green tom cat, Patrick, are becoming very friendly. Love is in the air. Carrie falls in love with a stranger, but is the heroically named Clark Kent really a good guy? He has a Komodo Dragon for a pet.

Sam and Sami talk of marriage and hope that evil forces do nothing to stop their long-awaited union.
